Meet my new bike... it's RED!
In order to take this whole new healthy lifestyle seriously, a good bike for me is a neccessity. And anyway, I really weren't allowed to call myself a proper Dutch mother without a child front and back. I can't wait to try this baby out! A little less rain and wind here, weather gods!!And here is a photo of the old seventies pouffe that I gave a new pillow-cover. It's made of a thrifted tablecloth. So simple and yet so lovely!
And I made another small cushion just for fun. I love quick projects that look cute too!

oooh, ik mis fietsen zo! Hier in Raleigh gaat dat gewoon niet tenzij je graag je leven waagt op de weg met vele grote auto's die niet aan fietsen gewend zijn. Ik ben jaloers hoor!

You sure live in bike heaven! Bikes are what I remember best from my trip to Amsterdam, my ecological heart was beating very fast when I saw all those great pieces of art rolling around :)
What a super cool bike! I used to ride all the time, but where we live now is just too hilly...and I miss it!

oh I'm so jealous... my husband doesn't want me to cycle with the children on the bike. Says it's too dangerous... but it would be soo cool.
