May I present to you... egg flowers!
The other day when I was digging through my scrapbasket, just itching to make more tissueholders, I suddenly had an idea for a new scrappy project. Eggwarmers...hurray! Don't you love it when a new idea just pops into your head?
It all went so smooth too. Sorting fabrics, cutting, sewing and the result was as I had hoped.
I made the coordinating eggholders from wool felt. Later I realised that these can also be used to hold napkins... multi-purpose holders, wow :)
They are super easy to make. All you need is two pieces of fabric and a bit of elastic for the eggwarmers, and a piece of wool felt and fabric for the eggholder. Don't you think they will brighten up the Easter breakfast table?
I just came across this, which is also a wonderful way to use up your scraps.

They look great all together!
Thank you so much for linking to our scrappy cabin challenge! I love your egg flowers! I am also so happy to have discovered the "use what you have" link. This is a current topic of mine. Thanks again!
they all look so cosy wrapped up like that! So much fun!

Very nice! They remind me of spring. And of those bun warmers.
Wow! Love'em! Very neat!

I have never seen eggs looks so cozy..ok maybe under a chicken but these are too cute!
Oh my goodness, those are darling!
These are nice -- a wonderful idea. I know Bea would have a blast nestling all her Easter eggs inside their cozies.
Love your window prototype below - simply charming.
So sweet and pretty. Isn't it nice when a plan works out well?
